My Flash Fiction Story "Mangoes" Featured in "Downtown Archive"

My flash fiction story MANGOES also appeared today in the beautiful literary magazine Downtown Archives. What fun!

I have to admit this is one of my favorite stories. I love all the subtle layers as the story unfolds, as well as its empowering message. Again, the illustration the editor chose for it is perfect!

My Flash Fiction Story "Zinnias" Featured in "The Sparrow's Trombone"

What a fabulous surprise! Not only was this story accepted by the awesome literary magazine  The Sparrow's Trombone  a few hours after I submitted it, but it went live less than an hour after that. Wow, right?  This is such a fun magazine! The editor, Jeremy, is a joy to deal with. Such a kind heart!  The magazine is devoted to the surreal and magical realism. I don't write in that genre very often, but I did with this story. And I had great fun doing so.  Enjoy this story. No, it's not what it seems.
