My Flash Fiction Story "Stoplight" Featured in "Squawk Back"

My flash fiction story STOPLIGHT just went live in the prestigious "Squawk Back" literary magazine.

Wow, what a week this has been! Out of the blue I received an invitation from the editor to submit. I did. And STOPLIGHT was accepted for the November issue.

What an honor it is to be included in this awesome literary journal. I'm a very grateful woman this week. And if you need a laugh today, you're going to love this story. Enjoy!

My Flash Fiction Story "Zinnias" Featured in "The Sparrow's Trombone"

What a fabulous surprise! Not only was this story accepted by the awesome literary magazine  The Sparrow's Trombone  a few hours after I submitted it, but it went live less than an hour after that. Wow, right?  This is such a fun magazine! The editor, Jeremy, is a joy to deal with. Such a kind heart!  The magazine is devoted to the surreal and magical realism. I don't write in that genre very often, but I did with this story. And I had great fun doing so.  Enjoy this story. No, it's not what it seems.
